David is a Principal of Columbus Consulting. David has over 23 years’ of experience delivering Merchandise Planning and Allocation systems. He has held many roles during that time including technical, functional, support, and training. Prior to joining Columbus Consulting, he worked with JDA and held positions with other consulting firms.

Experience

• SPARC Brands (Forever 21, Reebok, Brooks Brothers) –  Allocation Technical Lead
  • Implemented BY Allocation for the three different SPARC brands.  Responsible leading the technical design sessions and documentation, run system integrations, and end-to-end testing.  Supported go-live and hyper-care.
• LB(Victoria’s Secrets Lingerie, Pink, Victoria Secret Beauty ) – Enterprise Planning Technical Lead
  • Implemented BY Enterprise Planning for the three different LB brands.  Responsible leading the technical design sessions and documentation, run system integrations, and end-to-end testing.  Supported go-live and hyper-care.
• Ralph Lauren – Allocation Technical Lead
  • North America Division: Modifications to existing process included database (tables/procedures), scripts, system integrations, application configuration, and scheduling were all part of the scope of this project. Additionally, working with various groups was necessary as the project impacted all systems that dealt with inventory
  • Europe Division: Allocation modifications to help support process enhancements. These changes required database changes (tables/procedures) and application configuration modifications
• Dollar General – Merchandise Planning Technical Lead
  • Responsible for the migration of existing processes into the Cloud (hosted by BY). This also included a change to the application to support Attribute Planning, Key Item planning, as well as a more involved Merchandise Planning process. Additionally, end-to-end batch scripting was required
• At Home – Merchandise Planning Technical Lead
  • This project was a new implementation of JDA Enterprise Planning in the cloud (hosted by BY). This required a complete application configuration, database setup, and batch scripting
