Kurt is a Senior project/delivery manager at Columbus Consulting with 14 years of retail implementation experience. Most recently Kurt’s focus has been implementing Oracle Retail Omnichannel cloud and on-premise solutions. He works well under pressure delivering global business solutions for companies in the fast-paced B2C/B2B mobile, eCommerce and retail industries. This cross functional experience not only provides a unique project management perspective, but helps engage clients in meaningful strategy, design and technology dialogue to solve their business issues. Prior to project management he was a business owner and operations manager. Kurt enjoys combining his people management experience with project management.

• Project Management
  • Using hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodology, simultaneously managed/led 4 separate United States and Vietnam cross functional retail implementation teams. Consisting of 25 Technical, Functional and Quality Assurance team members working on 6-8 cloud and on-premise workstreams
• Program Management
  • Responsible for engineering department program management across all product lines. Using Agile methodology worked with product management team to deliver and manage software and firmware development priorities across 3 software platforms and 4 product lines
• Technical Integration Management
  • Managed Oracle integration to Salesforce, Relate/ORCE Oracle and Loyalty Plus/Merkle, MOA/Order management, Island Pacific Merchandising and various inhouse applications 
• Additional Consulting Initiatives
  • Successfully cultivated productive vendor relationships with Oracle, Payment gateway and processors; Verifone, ACI, Ingenico, Shift4 and Fiserv
