George has over 25 years of experience in retail and consumer, as a merchant, a management consultant, and an in-house strategy/consumer insights/business development leader. George works collaboratively across the C-suite to build digital-first and consumer-centric strategies that are underpinned by data/analytics, He has built and run program and project management offices (PMOs) to ensure that the organization is positioned to successfully execute these strategies.  He has led consumer insights’ functions that inform and track progress against strategies, as well as business development functions that drive profitable growth in alternative channels. As a consultant, George has served clients across several consumer-facing industries (e.g., consumer electronics, grocery, wholesale apparel, pharmacy retail) across a wide breadth of topics, including: price optimization, articulating strategic value propositions, creating profitable growth strategies, diagnosing and improving in-store consumer experience, creating category playbooks, assessing omni channel readiness, etc.  He has also served in interim leadership roles, most recently as head of strategy and consumer insights for a leading house of brands in women’s accessories.
