Elaine is a Retail Consultant working with small & medium sized businesses for over 20 years, reviewing & developing processes & procedures for merchandising, buying & design. She is able to review and enhance the current business practices while recommending systems & processes that will support growth. She advises at the strategic level while ensuring that changes are viable at the micro level.  Elaine is also often used in a coaching role. Prior to consultancy, Elaine worked in buying & merchandising for several major retail brands.

  • Worked with Directorate to ensure that strategic plans could be supported operationally. Specify, designing & implement buying & merchandising processes with a particular emphasis on core products.
• ICP/MI (Wealth Management)
  • Reviewed Business processes & strategy plans. Recommend & implemented system efficiencies. Supported implementation of new business system.
• Ede & Ravenscroft
  • Reviewed product & merchandising processes. Specified and implemented product planning and control process. Supported the business in all aspects of product merchandising.
• Jaeger
  • Reviewed business processes prior to Jaeger developing an “In house” business control system. Worked directly with the IT programmers to specify the required system development, and the commercial teams to ensure that the changes were implemented positively & successfully across all functions. The system covered business functions from cloth & product development, ordering, wholesale, allocations, reports & warehousing.

  • Reviewed all Business processes with the  Directorate & Senior team. Coached the buying, merchandising & wholesale teams in the new agreed procedures.
