Sam Taylor is a Principal with Columbus Consulting. Sam began his consulting career in 2010 helping to implement Predictix Planning. Since then, Sam has been the lead configuration consultant on multiple JDA Enterprise Planning projects. Sam is also a certified Anaplan model builder. Sam has experience with other MFP solutions including TXT Planning and Oracle PBCS, and has strong skills in systems testing, system configuration, documentation, end user support, and user training.

  • Validated source data against newly implemented MFP system in o9 via Power BI and other gathering tools. 

• Palo Alto – Anaplan Model Builder
  • Helped develop an Anaplan model to support territory planning by utilizing Anaplan’s optimizer functionality. Responsibilities included the model build, systems QA and creating user training material.

• Sam’s Club – Project Manager / System QA
  • Project Manager/QA Lead of a 10-year-old RPAS replacement Merchandise financial Planning Project. Lead daily defect meetings, helped manage/maintain the project plan, created and distributed weekly project status documents, lead daily system enhancement status update meetings, provided end user system support, participated in multiple aspects of system QA testing.

• Finish Line – UAT Test Lead
  • To support TXT planning implementation: Wrote system test scripts, conducted UAT testing sessions with end-users, conducted system defect meetings with developers, provided system support for end-users
