Brenda is a Principal with Columbus Consulting having over 20 years in the retail industry, with a foundation built in merchandise planning and then as a developer of retail software at  Blue Yonder. As the primary developer of the Blue Yonder Enterprise Planning Implementation Toolkit, and with a deep understanding of the Planning Environment Manager, she has a unique and thorough understanding of implementing these tools. Her responsibilities include requirements gathering, process/system design & configuration, training, system administrator, and BY Cloud implementations.

Experience

• Victoria’s Secret –  Merchandise Planning Functional
  • Installation and configuration of EP 2020.1.0 software on Blue Yonder Cloud environment. Designed and implemented User processes, full development and testing of front-end client and batch processing. 
• Ulta – Merchandise Planning Functional 
  • Upgraded client to EP 2018.1.0 software, providing testing for existing Automation processes and implementing new processes to take advantage of new EP functionality. Converted batch processing to use EP Batch functionality.
  • Served as Merch Ops EP System Administrator to handle day-to-day business needs, plus the implementation of process improvements.
• Dollar General –  Merchandise Planning Functional 
  • Upgraded client to EP 2018.1.0 software on Blue Yonder Cloud environment. Upgraded implementation within PEM. Developed new user functionality for EP Toolkit, implemented Attribute Planning, and Key Item Planning. Contributed to the development of end-to-end batch processing.
• Smart and Final – Merchandise Planning Functional 
  • New installation and configuration of EP 2017.1.0 software as Stand-Alone implementation for grocery retailer.
• DSW – Merchandise Planning Functional 
  • Implemented new functionality in EP 2016.1.0 environment. Converted and upgraded Automation code to use improved functionality where appropriate.
