Challenge
- The business needed to support continued growth through better decision making by transitioning from disparate spreadsheet-based planning applications, to an integrated cloud-based planning solution, to improve corporate financial planning, analytics and reporting.
Solution
- Leveraged the Anaplan Connected Planning solution to replace four core complex, siloed, spreadsheet applications (Gross Margin, Expense, Workforce, Net Income).
- Integrated current processes, provided sensitivity and scenario analysis and became proficient in the new solution to support application expansion.
Outcome
- The new applications provided a common architecture to support integrated planning with automated data integration and hierarchy maintenance. The results freed up time spent on manual processes, troubleshooting spreadsheets and data validation, while providing improved insight, greater level of detail, analytical capabilities and collaboration with established workflow processes.
