  • This fashion retailer needed to increase accuracy and access to data to enable fact based decisions and improve the allocation of merchandise to drive optimal use of inventory.

Solution

  • Implemented Allocation and Business Intelligence/Data Analytics, including data validation, cleansing, centralization, cloud hosting, analysis and tool selection. 
  • Prepared and implemented a three-year IT strategic plan emphasizing system renewal.   
  • Conducted a cost savings investigation across the Supply Chain.  
  • Led assigned initiatives by defining business requirements, creating vendor requests for proposals, designing extractions, validating data, creating analytic outputs, prioritizing based on business need.
  • Created a Merchandise Planning interim solution as well as a strategy to Implement a broad/integrated solution. 

Outcome

  • Successfully implemented and integrated Blue Yonder allocation system. 
  • Created and built a centralized Data Lake solution in the AWS Cloud. 
  • Integrated data and reporting across three separate channels (Catalog, E-Comm and Stores)
